Homosocial reproduction is the transfer of power and values from elder members of a social community to younger members of the same community [Mills & Wolfe, 2000 cited by @2017bonn_beware]. Wealthy, white, male mentors grooming younger, white men to take over business and political projects is an example of homosocial reproduction.
